A Legacy of Joy and Generosity
Maddy was a beloved member of the Belleville Beast Swim Team. Her vibrant spirit, infectious laughter, and enthusiasm touched her teammates, coaches, and everyone fortunate enough to know her.
In March 2022, Maddy, age 13, and her younger sister Joni, age 10, tragically lost their lives in an automobile accident while returning from a family vacation. Maddy’s six years with the team were filled with passion, energy, friendship, and countless smiles.
Maddy’s parents, Pieter and Jamie, established the fund so that financial barriers would not prevent a child from discovering the same love of swimming that meant so much to Maddy.
Together, we can honour Maddy’s memory and share her love of swimming with future generations.

Support the Dolphin Fund
Proceeds from the annual Maddy Kort Meet are donated to the fund. Personal contributions are also gratefully accepted and help make swimming more accessible to children in our community.
